Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) pengaruh media pembelajaran (dunia nyata/alami dan dunia maya/komputer) terhadap hasil belajar tentang Konsep Dasar Ekologi pada siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 4 Bojong; (2) untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar tentang Konsep Dasar Ekologi pada siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 4 Bojong; dan (3) pengaruh media pembelajaran (dunia nyata/alami dan dunia maya/komputer) dan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar tentang Konsep Dasar Ekologi pada siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 4 Bojong.
Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan rancangan noneksperimen, artinya peneliti tidak menggunakan perlakuan terhadap variabel-variabel penelitian melainkan mengkaji fakta-fakta yang telah terjadi atau ex post fact. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP N 4 Bojong. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah proportionate stratified random sampling. Hal itu peneliti laksanakan karena sampel yang diteliti berstrata yakni siswa kelas VII, VIII dan IX. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan tes. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi berganda.
Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut: 1) Terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara media pembelajaran dengan hasil belajar IPA pada materi pelajaran Konsep Dasar Ekologi pada siswa SMP Negeri 4 Bojong Kabupaten Pekalongan. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh nilai thitung sebesar 3,615 dengan taraf signifikansi α = 0,001 < 0,05 sehingga Ho ditolak. Selain itu, pengaruh yang diberikan media pembealajaran terhadap hasil belajar sebesar 13,07%. 2) Terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara motivasi belajar dengan hasil belajar IPA pada materi pelajaran Konsep Dasar Ekologi pada siswa SMP Negeri 4 Bojong Kabupaten Pekalongan yang didukung oleh nilai t hitung sebesar 2,023 dengan taraf signifikansi α = 0,001 < 0,05. Selain itu, pengaruh yang diberikan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar sebesar 3,98%. 3) Terdapat pengaruh secara bersama-sama antara penggunaan media pembelajaran dan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar yang ditunjukkan oleh hasil perhitungan Fhitung =8,40 dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar α = 0,000, signifikan pada α 1% yang menunjukkan ketepatan model penelitian.

The objectives of the research are to investigate: (1) the effect of the learning media (natural/real world and virtual world/computer) on the learning result in Natural Science with the topic of discussion of the Basic Concepts of Ecology of the students in Grade VII of State Junior Secondary School 4 of Bojong, Pekalongan regency; (2) the effect of the learning motivation on the learning result in Natural Science with the topic of discussion of the Basic Concepts of Ecology of the students in Grade VII of State Junior Secondary School 4 of Bojong, Pekalongan regency; and (3) the simultaneous effect of the learning media (natural/real world and virtual world/computer) and the learning motivation on the learning result in Natural Science with the topic of discussion of the Basic Concepts of Ecology of the students in Grade VII of State Junior Secondary School 4 of Bojong, Pekalongan regency.
This research used the quantitative research method with non-experimental design meaning that treatment was not applied to the variables of the research, but a study was conducted towards the ex-post facts. The population of the research was all of the students of State Junior Secondary School 4 of Bojong, Pekalongan regency. The samples of the research were taken by using a proportionate stratified random sampling technique. It was done due to the fact that the samples of the research had strata, namely: Class VII, Class VIII and Class IX. The data of the research were gathered by using a multiple regression analysis.
The results of the research are as follows: 1) There is a positive and significant effect of the learning media on the learning result in Natural Science with the topic of discussion of the Basic Concepts of Ecology of the students in Grade VII of State Junior Secondary School 4 of Bojong, Pekalongan regency as indicated by the value of tcount = 3.615 at the significance level of 0.001 < 0.05 meaning that Ho is rejected. Furthermore, the learning media affect the learning result as much as 13.07%. 2) there is a positive and significant effect of the learning motivation on the learning result in Natural Science with the topic of discussion of the Basic Concepts of Ecology of the students in Grade VII of State Junior Secondary School 4 of Bojong, Pekalongan regency as shown by the value of tcount = 2.023 at the significance level of 0.001 < 0.05. In addition, the learning motivation affects the learning result as much as 3.98%. 3) There is a simultaneous effect of the learning media and the learninf motivation on the learning result in Natural Science with the topic of discussion of the Basic Concepts of Ecology as pointed out by the value of Fcount =8.40 with the significance value of 0.000, at the significance level α = 1%, meaning that the research model is appropriate.
