Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : (1). Mengetahui hubungan kecerdasan emosional guru dengan hasil belajar Geografi siswa di kelas XII IPS SMA di Kabupaten Kebumen, (2). Mengetahui hubungan antara kinerja guru dengan hasil belajar Geografi siswa di kelas XII IPS SMA di Kabupaten Kebumen, dan (3). Mengetahui hubungan antara kecerdasan emosional dan kinerja guru secara bersamaan dengan hasil belajar Geografi siswa di kelas XII IPS SMA di Kabupaten Kebumen.
Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian Ex post facto. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskripsi korelasi, dimana penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Kabupaten Kebumen. Populasi penelitian ini adalah guru Geografi kelas XII IPS. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah sampling jenuh. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode angket dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Analisis korelasi sederhana dan ganda, dengan prasarat uji analisis menggunakan uji normalitas dan uji linieritas dengan taraf signifikasi 5 %.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan: (1). Terdapat Hubungan yang signifikan variabel kecerdasan emosional guru terhadap hasil belajar Geografi. Hal ini dapat diketahui dengan perolehan ry-1 = 0,750 (p-value = 0,000) dengan ty-1 = 2,770 (p-value = 0,011), sehingga hipotesis yang diajukan diterima, (2). Terdapat Hubungan yang signifikan antara kinerja guru terhadap hasil belajar Geografi. Hal ini dapat diketahui dengan perolehan ry-2 = 0,754 (P= 0,000) dan ty-2 = 2,855 (p-value= 0,09), sehingga hipotesis yang diajukan diterima, (3). Terdapat Hubungan yang signifikan antara kecerdasan emosional dan kinerja guru secara bersama terhadap hasil belajar Geografi. Hal ini dapat diketahui dengan perolehan hasil R² 0,684 dan nilai Fy-x = 22,768,, sehingga hipotesis yang diajukan diterima.

The objectives of this research are to investigate: (1) the correlation between the emotional quotient of teachers and the Geography learning result of the 12th grade students of Social Science Program of Senior Secondary School in Kebumen regency; (2) the correlation between the performance of teachers and the Geography learning result of the 12th grade students of Social Science Program of Senior Secondary School in Kebumen regency; and (3) the simultaneous correlation of the emotional quotient and performance of teachers to the Geography learning result of the 12th grade students of Social Science Program of Senior Secondary School in Kebumen regency.
This research used the ex post facto method with the descriptive correlational approach. The research was conducted at Senior Secondary School of Kebumen regency. The population of the research was all of the Geography teachers teaching the 12th grade students of Social Science Program. The samples of the research were taken by using the saturation sampling. The data of the research were gathered through questionnaire and documentation. The data of the research were analyzed by using the simple and multiple correlational analysis with the normality and linearity pre-requisite tests at the significance level of 5%.
The results of the research are as follows: (1) there is a significant correlation between the emotional quotient of teachers and the Geography learning result of the 12th grade students of Social Science Program of Senior Secondary School in Kebumen regency as indicated by ry-1 = 0.750 (p-value = 0.000) and ty-1 = 2.770 (p-value = 0.011), meaning that the proposed hypothesis is verified; (2) there is a significant correlation between the performance of teachers and the Geography learning result of the 12th grade students of Social Science Program of Senior Secondary School in Kebumen regency as shown by ry-2 = 0.754 (p-value = 0.000) and ty-2 = 2.855 (p-value = 0.09)meaning that the proposed hypothesis is verified; and (3) there is a simultaneously significant correlation of the emotional quotient and performance of teachers to the Geography learning result of the 12th grade students of Social Science Program of Senior Secondary School in Kebumen regency as pointed out by R2 = 0.684 and Fy-x = 22.768, meaning that the proposed hypothesis is verified.
