Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya: (1) perbedaan prestasi belajar antara penggunaan media alat peraga dan media interaktif berbasis komputer (2) perbedaan prestasi belajar antara siswa yang memiliki tingkat berpikir abstrak tinggi dan tingkat berpikir abstrak rendah, (3) perbedaan prestasi belajar antara siswa yang memiliki kemampuan matematika tinggi dan kemampuan matematika rendah, (4) interaksi antara penggunaan media alat peraga dan media interaktif dengan tingkat berpikir abstrak terhadap prestasi belajar, (5) interaksi antara penggunaan media alat peraga dan media interaktif berbasis komputer dengan kemampuan matematika terhadap prestasi belajar fisika, (6) interaksi antara tingkat berpikir abstrak siswa dengan kemampuan matematika terhadap prestasi belajar, (7) interaksi antara penggunaan media alat peraga dan media interaktif berbasis komputer dengan tingkat berpikir abstrak dan kemampuan matematika terhadap prestasi belajar.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen (experimental research). Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas XII program IPA SMA Negeri 3 Cilacap Tahun Pelajaran 2011/2012 sebanyak empat kelas terdiri dari 126 siswa. Sampel diambil secara acak dengan teknik cluster random sampling sebanyak dua kelas terdiri dari 62. Kelas eksperimen 1 menggunakan media alat peraga dan kelas eksperimen 2 menggunakan media interaktif berbasis komputer. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan observasi. Tes digunakan untuk prngumpulan data prestasi belajar kognitif, tingkat berpikir abstrak dan kemampuan matematika, sedangkan observasi untuk mendapatkan informasi prestasi belajar afektif. Uji hipotesis penelitian menggunakan anava tiga jalan dengan desain faktorial 2×2x2 dan sel tidak sama.
Kesimpulan: (1) terdapat perbedaan prestasi belajar antara pengunaan media alat peraga dan media interaktif berbasis komputer (Fobservasi=15,646 > Ftabel=4,11) , (2) terdapat perbedaan prestasi belajar antara siswa yamg memiliki tingkat berpikIr abstrak tinggi dan rendah (Fobservasi=22,48 > Ftabel=4,11) , (3) terdapat perbedaan prestasi belajar antara siswa yamg memiliki kemampuan matematika tinggi dan rendah (Fobservasi=41,853< Ftabel=4,11), (4) tidak ada interaksi antara penggunaan alat peraga dan media interaktif berbasis komputer dengan tingkat berpikir abstrak terhadap prestasi belajar (Fobservasi=0,432 > Ftabel=4,11), (5) tidak ada interaksi antara penggunaaan alat peraga dan media interaktif berbasis komputer dengan kemampuan matematika terhadap prestasi belajar (Fobservasi=0,061

The purposes of this research were to know the difference of students achievement between learning by using demonstration kit and computer based interactive media, between students who had high and low abstract thinking ability, between students who had high and low mathematics ability, their interaction between students who learned through demonstration kit dan computer based interactive media with abstract thinking ability toward students achievement, their interaction between students who learned through demanstration kit dan computer based interactive media with mathematics ability toward students achievement, their interaction between abstract thinking ability and mathematics ability toward students achievement, their interaction between students who were taught by using demanstration kit and computer based interactive media with abstract thinking ability and mathematics ability toward students achievement.
The research used experimental method.The population was all XIIth grade IPA students SMA Negeri 3 Cilacap Academic Year 2011/2012. The sample was taken using random sampling cluster consisted of two clases. The used demonstration experimental class 1 used demonstration kit and the experimental 2 used computer based interactive media. The data was collected using tor students achievement, abstract thinking ability and mathematics ability. The data was analyzed using Anova with 2×2x2 factorial design with unequel cell member.
The result of the research showed that: (1) there was difference in students achievement between students who learnt using demonstration kit and computer based interactive media (Fobservasi=15,646 > Ftabel=4,11), (2) there was difference in achievement between students who had high and low abstract thinking ability (Fobservasi=22,48 > Ftabel=4,11), (3) there was difference in achievement between students who had high and low mathematics ability (Fobservasi=15,646 > Ftabel=4,11), (4) there was no interaction between learning media and abstract thinking ability toward students achievement (Fobservasi=0,432 < Ftabel=4,11), (5) there was no interaction between learning media and mathematics ability toward students achievement (Fobservasi=0,061 < Ftabel=4,11), (6) there was no interaction between abstract thinking ability and mathematics ability toward students achievement (Fobservasi=0,273 < Ftabel=4,11), (7) there was no interaction between learning media and abstract thinking ability toward students achievement (Fobservasi=0,746 < Ftabel=4,11),
