Riyadi Santosa, M.Ed., Ph.D.; Co-promotor II: Dr. Tri Wiratno, M.A., Dissertation of Doctorate Program of Surakarta Sebelas Maret University.<\/h4>\n<h6>Sebagian besar fokus penelitian interferensi gramatikal terbatas pada interferensi <em>bilingual<\/em> dengan rancangan penelitian eksperimen serta terfokus pada interferensi pembelajar. Sedangkan interferensi tidak hanya terjadi pada penutur <em>bilingual<\/em> akan tetapi juga dapat terjadi pada penutur <em>multilingual<\/em>. Oleh karena itu, untuk mengisi <em>research gap<\/em>, penelitian ini mengungkap interferensi <em>multilingual<\/em>, dalam konteks ini mahasiswa dan dosen pendidikan bahasa Inggris sebagai penutur bahasa Jawa (L1), bahasa Indonesia (L2), dan bahasa Inggris (L3). Penelitian bertujuan mengidentifikasi bentuk dan pola-pola pada interferensi morfologi dan sintaksis; mendeskripsikan faktorpenyebab terjadinya interferensi serta memaparkan persepsi mahasiswa dan dosen tentang beda institusi dan masa studi terhadap interferensi morfologis dan sintaksis bahasa Indonesia yang terjadi dalam interaksi pembelajaran bahasa Inggris di IAIN Tulungagung dan STKIP PGRI Tulungagung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan ancangan etnografi berbasis <em>classroom based research<\/em> dan studi kasus di 2 insitusi pendidikan. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik analisis dokumen menggunakan pengamatan dan perekaman (<em>video recording) <\/em>yang ditranskripsikan ke dalam bentuk teks duratif yang mengandung tuturan interaksi dosen dan mahasiswa dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas; wawancara mendalam untuk mengetahui faktor penyebab interferensi yang dialami oleh mahasiswa maupun dosen dalam interaksi pembelajaran dan mengkonfirmasi simpulan-simpulan sementara yang dihasilkan melalui teknik pengamatan dan perekaman; dan teknik kuesioner untuk mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa dan dosen tentang beda institusi dan masa studi terhadap interferensi morfologi dan sintaksis bahasa Indonesia.Teori SLA, Mental Konsep, Analisis Kontrastif, dan teknik tanda kurung berlabel tradisional digunakan sebagai pisau analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) 9 bentuk interferensi morfologi dan sintaksis yang ditemukan pada pembelajaran bahasa Inggris; (2) pola-pola interferensi didominasi oleh struktur pohon <em>frasa verb<\/em><em>a<\/em>(50 pola), diikuti oleh<em>Noun Phrase<\/em> (26 pola), <em>Adjective Phrase<\/em> (7 pola), <em>Adverb Phrase<\/em> (5 pola); <em>C<\/em><em>lauses<\/em> (3 pola) serta kalimat (2 pola);(3) faktor-faktor penyebab interferensi meliputi perspektif mahasiswa dan dosen; dan (4) persepsi mahasiswa dan dosen tentang beda institusi dan masa studi meliputi persepsi kuliah di IAIN Tulungagung sebagai pilihan terakhir, <em>output <\/em>STKIP PGRI mudah lulus, dan pemberian kontrol kognitif dosen sesuai dengan kompetensi mahasiswa; sedangkan persepsi masa studi\u00a0 lebih cenderung disebabkan oleh tinggi rendahnya motivasi belajar dan faktor-faktor lainnya seperti<em> learning atmosphere, <\/em><em>creating reinforcement<\/em> <em>of opportunities<\/em><em>, frequency<\/em><em> of opportunities to charge of interactions and self exposure<\/em>. Riyadi Santosa, M.Ed., Ph.D.; Co-promotor II: Dr. Tri Wiratno, M.A., Dissertation of Doctorate Program of Surakarta Sebelas Maret University.<\/h4>\n<h6>Mostly the grammatical interference studies focus on bilingual interference, the research setting also used experiment and observed the students\u2019 interference; whereas interference not only occur in bilingual speakers but also multilingual speakers. Therefore, to complete the research gap, this research is addressed to uncover multilingual interference related to the utterances produced by students and English lecturers as Javanese speakers (L1), Indonesian (L2), English (L3) especially to identify the form and patterns of Indonesian morphology and syntactic interference; describe the factors which arise them and explain students and lecturers\u2019 perspectives about the different institution and students\u2018term. This case-comparative study analysis towards two educational institutions in Tulungagung and were conducted in orderto know the use of L1 or L2 structure towards English in classroom based research through collecting data procedure such as documentation analysis, questionnaire, interview and discussion with experts in related researches. First, in documentation analysis, the observation, video recording, and fourteen durative texts were used to identify the forms and patterns of Indonesian morphology-syntactic interference based on native speaker\u2019s validation and discussion with experts in related researches. Second, in depth interview is used todescribe the factors which arise them.Third, questionnaires are used to explain students and lecturers\u2019 perspectives about the different institution and students\u2018term on arising Indonesian morphology-syntactic interference. SLA theory, Mental Concept, Contrastive Analysis and labelled bracketing ttraditional are used as the theory to data analysis. Research findings show that 9 forms of morphology-syntactic property arouse e.g.number, tense; case; aspect; mood; diathesis, SVA;\u00a0 Degree of Comparison; Word class.Then the pattern of morphology-syntactic property are dominated by VP (50 patterns) including Tense; Diathesis;Modus; SVA; Aspect; next Noun Phrase (26 patterns) consisting of Number,Case; then Adjective Phrase (7 patterns) consists of Nominal Sentence in Present Future Tense; Degree of Comparison; Word Class; Adverb Phrase (5 patterns) including\u00a0 Aspect; clauses (2 patterns), third,\u00a0 sentences consist of (a) Past perfect tense; (b)Negative Imperative;(c)Dative; (d)Constructing Nominal Sentence in Present Future Tense. Third, the factors influence the arising of Indonesian interferenceare students \u2018perspective including lectures\u2019 habits, students&#8217; motivation, and structure differences; and lecturers\u2019 perspective including unaware constructing interference;(b) the difference level of acquisition of Indonesian; (c) the minimum of habitual and unsupported situation; (d)a belief for Indonesia speakers as NNS. The last<em>, <\/em>students\u2019 and lecturers\u2019 perspectives on different institution and students-termincluding studying in IAIN Tulungagungis the last choice, the ease of graduating from STKIP PGRI, giving cognitive control based on the the competence level;then the students\u2019term tend to be caused by the higher or lower motivation, learning atmosphere, creating reinforcement of opportunities, frequency of opportunities to charge of interactions and self exposure.
