The title of this research is Pragmatics Study of Wise Utterances of Peri Mestike in Gayonese culture. The purposes of this study are; (1) to describe the types of speech acts in the PM and to reveal the dominant speech acts in PM, (2) to formulate a strategy of cooperation and politeness in PM, (3) to describe the implicature and pragmatic force in PM. The method used in this study type inclusive in qualitative method. The data in this research are PM utterances and the sources of the data, are; (1) informants, (2) the speech event, (3) artifacts. <\/em>Data analysis technique is based on to the forms and used of PM in the speech act. The data validity is checked based on the <\/em>arguments<\/em> obtained from the informants.\u00a0 Force, implicature, cooperative, and politeness are analyzed by insider perspective that is related to the speech context through the document. The result: (1) the types of speech acts are represented in PM and to reveals the dominant speech acts in PM, (a) the verdictive utterances amounting <\/em>110 (51%) the sub-utterances dominate in ‘forgiving’<\/em> there are<\/em> to 36 (17%), (b) the expressive utterances <\/em>there are<\/em> 64 (30%) the sub-utterances dominate in \u2018admitting\u2019 there are 35 (16%). (c) <\/em>the assertive utterances <\/em>there are 22 (10%) the sub-utterances dominate in \u2018reminding\u2019 there are 7 (3%), (d) <\/em>the phatic utterances <\/em>there are 18 (9%) the sub-utterances dominate in \u2018excuses\u2019 there are 9 (4%). Speech acts which is dominated the PM utterances of Gayonese culture is the verdictive utterances are 110 (51%) from 214 PM utterances were found in three custom events and forgiving sub utterances accounted for 36 (17%); (2) to formulate a strategy of cooperation and politeness in PM, (a) cooperative formulating (1) singket, (2) pedet, (3) muwet, (4) muedet, realization of the principle of “Mukemmel” (shame), namely the dignity of each individual speaker, (b) politeness in the PM is to realize the value of “mutertip” (orderly) using speech language that avoids 4 the\u00a0 customary abstinence are (1) sumang opat, (2) kemali, (3) jis\/jengkat, (4) madu niedet, in this way tend to use that form of the utterances are not match the form of speech and the speakers\u2019 means,\u00a0 subtle, implicit, implicature, hedging, parables and metaphors; (3) Implicature and pragmatic force that exists in the PM formulated from nature, color, form, function and place object or objects referenced existence and mode of speech is different from the meaning and intent as well as the strategy of indirect speech acts and not literal.The findings of this study are based on the data and arguments, <\/em>(1) The Speech tendency shown in PM utterances, (2) The Maxim of manner\u00a0 the PM wise\u00a0 utterances involving of internal cultural values \u201ctertip\u201d and \u201cmukemel\u201d, (3) the PM\u00a0 strategy in the directness and indirectness\u00a0 form, (4) The Sub of speech acts in the PM as the embodiment of Gayonese culture ethnic stereotypes, and (5) culture values \u201cI langit bintang Pitu I bumi Kal Pitu Mata\u201d\u00a0 as Platform of\u00a0 PM speech.<\/em><\/p>\n

Penelitian ini berjudul Kajian Pragmatik Tuturan Bijak Peri Mestike<\/em> dalam Budaya Gayo. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk; (1) Mendeskripsikan jenis-jenis tindak tutur dan mengungkapkan tindak tutur-tindak tutur yang dominan dalam PM, (2) Memformulasikan strategi dan bentuk-bentuk kerja sama dan kesantunan yang ada di dalam PM, (3) Mengungkapkan alasan implikatur dan daya pragmatik yang ada dalam PM. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) simak, (2) catat, (3) wawancara, (4) rekam. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa tuturan PM dalam peristiwa adat; (1) pernikahan, (2) seni bertutur, dan (3) cerita rakyat. Sumber data yang digunakan; (1) responden, (2) peristiwa tutur, (3) Artefak. Teknik analisis data ditumpukan pada bentuk bahasa tutur PM yang digunakan dan diferifikasi berdasarkan insider persfektif. Keabsahan data diperiksa berdasarkan argumen yang diperoleh dari pihak autoritas. Daya, implikatur, PKS, dan PS dianalisis berdasarkan insider perspektif yang direlasikan dengan konteks pertuturan melalui dokumen. Hasil penelitian: (1) jenis tindak tutur yang direpresentasikan dalam PM, (a) bentuk tindak tutur verdiktif\u00a0 berjumlah 110 (51%) sub tindak tutur mendominasi \u2018mema\u2019afkan\u2019 berjumlah 36 (17%), (b) bentuk tindak tutur ekspresif\u00a0 berjumlah 64 (30%) sub tindak tutur mendominasi\u00a0 \u2018mengakui\u2019 berjumlah 35 (16%), (c) bentuk tindak tutur asertif\u00a0 berjumlah 22 (10%) sub tindak tutur mendominasi \u2018mengingatkan\u2019 berjumlah 7 (3%), (d) bentuk tindak tutur fatis berjumlah 18 (9%) sub tindak tutur mendominasi \u2018memafkan sebanyak 9 (4%). Tindak tutur yang mendominasi tuturan PM dalam budaya Gayo adalah bentuk tindak tutur verdiktif yang berjumlah 110 (51%) dari 214 tuturan PM yang ditemukan dalam tiga peristiwa adat dan sub tindak tutur mema\u2019afkan berjumlah 36 (17%); (2) bentuk-bentuk kerja sama dan kesantunan yang ada di dalam PM, (a) kerja sama dalam PM berbentuk (1) \u00a0singket<\/em>, (2) pedet, <\/em>(3) muwet, <\/em>(4) muedet,<\/em> realisasi dari prinsip \u201cmukemel\u201d<\/em> (malu), yakni saling menjaga harga diri masing-masing peserta tutur, (b) kesantunan dalam PM ialah merealisasikan nilai \u201cmutertip\u201d <\/em>(tertib) dengan menggunakan bahasa tutur yang menghindari 4 pantangan adat (1) sumang opat, <\/em>(2) kemali, <\/em>(3) jis\/jengkat, <\/em>(4) madu niedet<\/em>, cara ini cendrung menggunakan bahasa tutur\u00a0 yang berbentuk tidak sesuai dengan bentuk tuturan dan maksud tujuan penuturnya, halus, implisit, berimplikatur, berpagar (hedging<\/em>), perumpamaan, dan kias. (3) Implikatur dan daya pragmatik yang ada dalam PM terbentuk dari sifat, warna, bentuk, fungsi dan tempat, benda atau keberadaan benda yang diacu dan modus tuturan berbeda dengan makna dan maksudnya serta strategi tindak tutur tidak langsung dan tidak literal. Temuan dalam penelitian ini disimpulkan sebagai berikut; (1) kecendrungan bahasa tutur tidak langsung ditunjukan dalam tuturan bijak PM. <\/em>(2) Maksim cara dalam tuturan bijak PM melibatkan nilai internral budaya \u201ctertib\u201d<\/em> dan \u201cmukemel\u201d<\/em>. (3) strategi bertutur PM dalam bentuk langsung dan tidak langsung. (4) Sub tindak tutur dalam PM sebagai perwujudan stereotip etnis budaya Gayo, dan (5) Budaya \u201cI langit bintang pitu I bumi kal pitu mata\u201d<\/em> dalam tuturan bijak PM.<\/p>\n
